細谷由依子　1990年代後半より、想像上の女性を主なモチーフに、鉛筆画と木炭画を制作。展覧会やCD、書籍、雑誌などを通して発表する。また、子供と動物をモチーフとした刺繍作品『リムパ小動物』シリーズでは、展示だけでなく、パラソルや食器など、生活用品にもデザインを提供した。自らの散文や物語を作画のきっかけとすることが多く、展覧会では絵画作品とともにそれらの文章も発表している。2008年に作家活動を休止。2017年よりふたたび創作を始め、2021年春、ウェブサイトKINOTARKO ARTにて作品発表を再開。KINOTARKO（キノタルコ）とは、愛猫のキノとタルコから作った複合語。

Yuiko Hosoya started presenting pencil and charcoal drawings of imaginary female figures in the late 1990 through exhibitions as well as commercial products such as CD and book covers, and magazines. Her illustration/embroidery series of animal and children called "Lympah the small creatures" was used as motifs of household goods such as parasol/umbrellas and ceramicware. For her the drive for drawing often comes from her own prose and stories which would be introduced together with her visual work at exhibitions. She took a hiatus in 2008. In 2017 she started creating again followed by 2021 launch of the website KINOTARKO ART.

KINOTARKO is a compound word of her beloved cats called Kino and Tarko.
